#1The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street

The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street

Exile on Main Street is one of the best albums of one the best bands ever, The Rolling Stones. This record reflects a period of time when Keith Richards was at his peak of compositive talents. Recorded in his basement in France, its jammy and bluesy spirits and its freewheeling nature make this record a perfect choice to listen to while on a road trip.

"The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street is one of the best rock and roll albums ever and one of the best and most interesting things you could chose to listen to. It is a classic rock album from the 60s and has some of the greatest Stones hits of all time. If you've never heard this album pick it up today!"

    The Beatles - Abbey Road

Some may say that Abbey Road is the best album by the best band ever. We don't know but what we think is that Abbey Road is a perfect album to enjoy while driving on a road trip. Songs like Come Together, Something, Octopus's Garden, Here Comes the Sun, Because are perfect and atemporal and create the perfect atmosphere for a long ride.

#3Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual

Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual

The last album of Jane's Addiction before the reunion was the perfect epilogue of an era and the prologue of another. Creators of the alternative rock scene, their mix of funk, heavy metal, surf, progressive rock, punk was the base for many bands that came after but never topped.

"Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual is one of the best rock albums of all time. The band embraced all types of music back then and really put their heart and soul into their work. This band always makes me miss the 90's and all of the great music of the time."

    #4Grateful Dead - American Beauty

    Grateful Dead - American Beauty

Grateful Dead is one of the best bands that came from the sixties free spirit era. They were one of the bands that emerge from the hippie and psychedelic scene from California. Fusing all types of music like jazz, country, rock, psychedelia, blues, space rock and long and acid oriented instrumental jams. American Beauty was the follow up for their Workingman's Dead album where they continue exploring the folk, bluegrass and country elements of their music developing their songcraft to their highest point.

    #5Fleetwod Mac - Rumours

    Fleetwod Mac - Rumours

The number of hits and classic songs that there all in this album is so high that is almost a record to sing-along with in its own entirety. This album, the second with the lineup that was established in 1975  with the album Fleetwood Mac, was the biggest success of the band, that expanded its sound from blues rock to a music full of vocal harmonies between Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

"Although I like Fleetwood mac, I would not consider them to be one of my favorites. This album represents them the best. Many of their hits are on this, but some of the better songs are their lesser known tracks. Easy to listen to from beginning to end."

#6Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

One of the best albums by the British pianist and singer, reaching 30 million of copies sold. This album launched in 1973 and with Bernie Taupin's lyrics, the main composer of this era for Elton John is a musical tour de force. Grandiloquent, emotional, minimal sometimes, this double album showed all the talents of Elton John, from piano ballad to rock and roll gems. An album to immerse during a road trip.
