What the community says about A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander)
- "Oh wow, if I could pick a handful of things to make my wife do, not reading this series would be in the top three. I don't mind romance, and I don't even mind bodice ripping steamy romance, but these stories are super self-indulgent. Everything revolves around the heroine. She's the object of everyone's affection, one way or another. Bouncing from guy to guy, just in time to be plunged into medieval intrigue. And don't forget the forced encounters, or the ones that involve some other guy grabbing her so he can have his way with her in a manner she hates at first, but then comes to like and think about. I can't believe a woman writes these. If a guy did, there's be pitchforks and torches on the internet.""I was so hoping this was going to be read, boy was I disappointed. The characters good and the historical accuracy was spot on. It was just filled with irrelevant details."

- "I am a romantic at heart. And as a modern day woman, nothing gets my heart beating than a romance based on captivity. Who wouldn't want to be rescue by a handsome man when they are helpless and scared? This book does a wonderful job of attracting its audience and drawing them in all the way to the last page. As the 6th book in this series, it did not disappoint. As with the rest of the series, the writing is superb. Don't think, just buy it! "
