"I'm trying to find the top ten best romance books about unrequited love for my lonely Valentine's Day, but I don't have a lot of time to waste trying to figure out which books are the best that have been written so far. Unfortunately stores like Amazon.com don't provide much in terms of whether or not the products they are selling are any better than any others. For example: despite the fact that Amazon.com lists "A Kingdom of Dreams" as being written by a bestselling author, I'm still not sure after looking at the book's store listing whether or not it is any better than any other book about unrequited love. Reviews written by buyers may not be the most reliable. Perhaps if the store included literary reviews, it would be more suited for my search purposes."

"Although, I've never read A Kingdom of Dreams, I would have to disagree with it being the solution. I would suggest the Outlander series. Diana Gabaldon is an excellent writer, has made the New York Times Bestseller List multiple times, and continues to find new fans all over the world."

"The characters here are so richly developed. I was on the edge of my seat for a while and never knew what to expect. Highly entertaining."

"Girl in captivity falls for the dashing captor. Ok? I don't know why women enjoy these stories but to me they're pure trash. Who falls for someone who mistreats them? Not this girl! "

" A Kingdom of Dreams (Westmoreland Saga) by Judith McNaught really turned out to be an amazing book. If you are a fan of stories where there is tension between the hero and heroine, this is a book that you should check out. Top notch material here."

"This book has a misleading title and would not be an ideal solution for dream related books. This book does not have anything to do with actual dreams but the dream of a romantic relationship. This would be better suited to a romantic novel topic. "

"Not everyone's cup of tea. Some are drawn in by the setting and the characters, but others seem to find what they want elsewhere. Do note that some editions of both the print and the e-reader versions are poorly polished."

"I loved that there was a strong female lead in this story. Some parts of the story were even funny and gave me a good chuckle. I will be checking out more books in this saga. "

"Jennifer Merrick is abducted from a convent school by Royce Westmoreland, an earl. Although intimidating to many, Jennifer will have nothing to do with him. She challenges him until he eventually takes over and gives in to him. Jennifer soon finds herself in a dangerous and unusual place and feeling trapped by overwhelming love."

"I admit it, I'm a sucker for fantasy novels that have historical roots. I like reading about medieval times, counts, knights, and fair ladies in peril. A Kingdom of Dreams had me deeply intertwined with romance and exploits of Jennifer and Royce."

"I usually dislike romance novels but A Kingdom of Dreams (Westmoreland Saga) is an exception. This story had me laughing at times and crying at others. Judith McNaught is an excellent writer and this book seemed to give a great insight into the 15th Century."

"A Kingdom of Dreams (Westmoreland Saga) is a great book that tells the story of a woman that is kidnapped by an earl that is known for his serious demeanor and ability to instill fear into others. I found the love story in this book to be very pulling and captivating. "

"Historical romance is one of my favorite genre and this one was a warm cozy read. Engaging characters is the highlight of the book. The story line is a little flat with and the sex scenes mediocre. "

"As an avid romance novel reader I was pleasantly surprised as to how much I loved every aspect of this book. I was completely entranced by the characters and the story telling was done extremely well. Reading this book painted such vivid imagery in my mind. It was almost as if I was watching a movie in my head! "
