"Having a daughter who is serving in the Military, I was given A Soldier's Duty as a gift. I thought it was a very good read. The characters are engaging and the action brisk. The author does a good job of foreshadowing later developments. "

"This is an interesting take on the classical Cassandra Complex; the lead character is troubled by haunting visions of a future she must fight to prevent. It's a fun and entertaining read, packed full of action and adventure. "

"I'm a vivid reader and I've been looking for a new good book to read. My girlfriend recently recommended me this book and I quickly ordered it. I have to agree with her, it's a pretty good book with interesting arcs. This is one of my favorite romance books about warriors, considering there isn't much in the first place! I would recommend it to anyone else that asks about any good books. "

"There are many book written about romance during war times and A soldier's duty is a little bit different. It is not historical but science fiction; the story will take place with a Galactic Empire. Great book for the fan of science fiction war books but the romance is a little bit too much in the book."

"Recently there's been a plethora of high quality sci-fi books with female leads and "A Soldier's Duty" is high on the list. Ia, the main character of this gripping novel is an absolute badass. She initially is tasked with finding a way to save the world in 300 years so she enlists as a soldier to hopefully gain the skills to do just that. She is so inspiring that a legend grows about her exploits and people hundreds of years later know her by the name "Bloody Mary." "

"Military science fiction don't often have female characters being the leading character. A soldier's duty is a rather unique version as a result."
