"This is not usually a genre that I enjoy but a friend of mine read it and seemed to really enjoy it. I picked it up, read a few pages and got hooked. The is an excellent book."

"I like what the author was trying to say (I think), but it gets lost in the constant sexploits of the characters. The book reduces all of the main characters to sex playthings, and it really undermines the message of the story."

"This is pretty heavy on the smutty side of romance/erotica so just know that when reading it. If that's what you're looking for then this book is a great read. My friends and I have a book club where we chose a book like this and it's really a fun time."

"Books that revolve around lesbian characters are hard to find. Now turn it into a historical fictional novel, and it's going to be even harder to find what you are looking for. What's great about A Taste of Sin is that it highlights some of the struggles lesbians face when deciding to come out to their friends or family. There is also more going on than the sexuality of the characters, which allows this book to be multi-dimensional. "

"This is an okay romance novel. I felt that the characters were believable and made realistic decisions, but the amount of sex in the novel overwhelmed me. I think that some more of the book could have been devoted to the plot"

"This book is definitely hit and miss. Personally I don't care for this kind of erotic literature. It feels more like a record of lewd behavior than an intriguing story of passion. "
