"Margaret Atwood is a phenomenal writer. While Alias Grace is not my favorite of her nooks it is excellent and this is a great brief synopsis."
  • Edward Larson

"Margaret Atwood did a stellar job of telling the story of Alias Grace, a 16 year old convicted of murder of three people. There's a reason Netflix turned this story into a 6 part mini series. This book tells the story of one of the most notorious women in the 19th century. Definitely something to pick up and enjoy."

"Alias Grace is a story that takes readers into the journey about the life of women in the 19th century. This story follows Grace Marks, and her story on being convicted and then proven innocent by a psychiatrist. It is a historical fiction title, but still a great read nonetheless. "

"I love Margaret Atwood and this one was a little different from the others I have read. I liked the mix of history and a fictionalized real-life mystery. The ending was disappointing, without giving details."
