"This is a pretty good solution. While there aren't a lot of reviews, the ratings are high for the limited amount. It means every criterion and seems to be very interesting. "

""An Egg Is Quiet" by Dianna Aston and Sylvia Long is a wonderful primer for children for the world of eggs. However, when we're talking about the scope of nonfiction books, the topic isn't incredibly important. While it's a decent read for kids, I can't say that I would consider it the "best", so it's a decent option at best."

"This is a great book for toddlers. Me and my little one enjoyed the beautiful illustrations of all of the different eggs. It's a great way to introduce this concept of nature to a small child and it's a good read that never gets boring. I would definitely recommend this book for any one who has a little one of their own. "

"I love, love this book. The illustrations are beautiful and really make this book for me. I love books that teach in a subtle way. This book is all about eggs. Birds eggs, fish eggs, amphibian eggs, anything that lays an egg, its story is here. The book follows the tail of each egg from being laid to being hatched. I found this book full of beautiful, deeply detailed illustrations"

"This book seems very creative and whimsical, perfect for small children. The age range listed is a bit younger than what I am looking for, but only by a bit. This would likely still make a good book for a child of about 9, but I also might look for something a bit more advanced."

"All the questions that you ever had and even some you didn't think of to ask about eggs are answered here. All the splendor and wonder of the many different types of eggs are captured here. This is a great book for children to discover the wonderful world of eggs. "
