"I love that the main character is a strong and determined girl. She doesn't go weak when she feels like things are not going her way and she continues to fight for what and who she believes in. Being able to have that consistency throughout the entire book is refreshing"

"This book will one day get enough attention to become a movie. The page turning spellbinding novel has you holding your breathe until the end. Wonderfully written it will kee you guessing all the way through. I really like this book and highly recommend."

"This is an interesting book with lots of twists and turns. It's good for someone interested in reading about fantasy characters and people from out of this world. The writing is mysterious yet quick and witty. It's a decent read for a rainy day, but a little more for young adults rather than more mature readers."

"I read anything and everything, and like most everything. I did not like Angelfall. I really tried to get into the story line but it was a bridge too far. My recommendation is to find something else to read."

"I had a great time reading this book, although the theme of heaven vs. hell is a bit dark. Penryn, who is a fallen one, has no choice but to turn to an angel in order to save her sister. An unlikely romance develops between Penryn, a fallen one, and the angel while they are trying to save her sister. Penryn helps the angel in exchange for his help."

"Angelfall is better than the typical 'strong woman' Hunger Games clone out there. The premise is more interesting, and the writing is more straightforward. It's ok."

"Angelfall is a post-apocalyptic fantasy novel written by Korean-American author Susan Ee. It is the first book in the Penryn & the End Of Days trilogy. I did enjoy reading this book, though it's definitely my favourite. There were many things that didn't really make sense or were not explained well the life of fantasy very far from reality."

"Angelfall is fun but lacks originality. The author is capitalizing on the female teen paranormal and dystopia craze that was big at the time."

""Angelfall" is a magical tale that ropes you in and never lets go. I fell into this book and could not put it down. Hands down one of the best books that hasn't been adapted into a movie yet."

"The genre of YA dystopian romance novels has become oversaturated in recent years, and it's become harder than ever to find new, fresh ideas. That's why I love Angelfall so much, the story of a girl trying to save her sister, who's been kidnapped by angels during the apocalypse. The very premise have taken my expectations for YA dystopian romance to new levels."

"I never thought of angels as being able to be bad. This book kept me reading nonstop. There is such a mystical feel about this book. I couldn't put the book down until all of my questions were solved. I even re read parts of it just to clear up my perceptions."

"I wanted to find a good love and hate romance book and found Angelfall (Penryn & The End Of Days). This book is the first in a series, and it looks like it has a very cool story. I also really like the cover, it tells me a lot about the feel of the story. I recommend this book, but its hard to tell how much romance there is. "

"Angelfall (Penryn & The End Of Days) is a really good book with angels as it centers around the protagonist's little sister who was kidnapped by angels following the apocalypse. In this story, you go on a journey with her to save her sister and truly experience all this book has to offer. "

"A coworker of mine knows how much I love romance books, particularly ones with unlikely lovers. She gave me this book during our office secret santa and I began reading it that evening. Soon, it was 2:00 am; I couldn't put it down! The plot of Angelfall pulls you right in and it has some of the best character development I've seen in a long time. I cannot wait to read more by Susan Ee!"

"I am a huge Harry Potter fan, and Hermione is by far my favorite character! I just love an empowered woman. Now that I can't read her stories anymore, I searched for a book series dedicated to exactly what I loved about her. Thats how I found Angelfall, and thank the lord I did. It brings exactly what I needed back to my life, kickass femme fatals. "
