What the community says about Apples and Pumpkins
- "I was looking for the best books with fruits and vegetables in the title. I found Apples and Pumpkins. This book is great. It's a children's fiction book by Anne Rockwell. The illustrations are great. My daughter loves it! She requests I read it every night before she goes to bed; she just loves it that much. Check it out!"
- "I bought this for my child, and I was disappointed to find out that this isn't a graphic novel. Its just a picture book! Where's the blood? The demons crawling on the ceiling? The subliminal satanic curses? This "graphic" novel is actually a cute and heartwarming story! Who wants that? Not this guy!"
- "Truly this is a very sweet book about the fall. It’s a simple read and my 2 yo loved it. My daughter likes to feel very prepared for everything so we got her this book to prepare her for her first visit to the pumpkin patch this October. And I’ll just say, reading the book was honestly a sweeter, more perfect experience than the one we had at our local pumpkin patch. I recommend it highly for the fall season. It’s a great addition to a child’s library. I know we will enjoy pulling it out again next fall! "
- "While Apples and Pumpkins is a great book for young, learning minds, I feel that by sixth grade, a child's reading level should be above this. To that end, while it's a good book for children, there are better options for a child in this age bracket, so I cannot rate it highly."
