"At Peace by Kristen Ashley is a story about two lovers; The book was released in 2011. If you're looking for a strong male protganist, look no further. Although, take in to consideration that you are seeking out a book primarily focused on the aspect of a strong male who is very "dominant". So don't xpect to see a "strong woman" featured, or anything like that."

"Why do these romance novels always need some ridiculous over the top plot. I think it's to mask the author's bad writing. The main character's husband was murdered by some mysterious person, and then she meets a security guy and they fall in love. Ill pass on this one."

"I found this book scrolling through my amazon account. Yeah this is the 100th book I have read with the same storyline, the book is cliche. I like the fact it was not set in the 1900s though, that makes it a little readable, but the story still have been done before. "

"This was an okay book and I think it was well written and even interesting. But, the characters just weren't very likable and the story felt stretched out a bit too much, to the point of almost inducing me not to finish. I'm glad I did, but overall I don't think I could recommend it to others. "

"A lonely widow finds her desires bubble up to the surface upon meeting a security specialist whose dark, scary personality only serves to feed into the woman's otherwise forbidden inner fetishes. Of course, there has to be some drama, so the guy has a dark, secret past that both draws her in and pushes her away. A story of the push and pull the couple experience that pits conflict against their burning lust for each other. This book should appear to those who like a story with a bit more passion than your traditional romance novel."

"Kristen Ashley is a master at what she does, and this book is the perfect example of that. At Peace is such a great neighbor romance. The love drips off the pages as the story heats up. I loved the book from beginning to end and can't wait for more from this author!"

"This is such a long book. It took me a while to get through because of the slow pace of the story. I can get through long books pretty fast if I love the storyline but this is a book I had to keep putting down for a later time. "

"Kristen Ashley takes too long to get to the point. The book is unnecessarily long. The pacing is terrible."

"At peace is honestly one of the worst novels in the burg series. It just drags on and on and there is never a end in sight."

"After reading the first book in this series, I knew I had to read the rest. This book follows the adventures of the characters from the first as they progress on with their lives. Young love and heart ache still abound in this book and keep you glued to each page. Another great book from this great series."
