"It's dark and disturbing and it definitely one of the most iconic alan moore books.  it's a masterpiece and i wished this was the joker origin story we got to see in the big screeens this year or pretty much like a remake XD"

"There aren't a lot of Batman comics (or any comics, really) more iconic than Alan Moore's 1988 one-shot, The Killing Joke. The relationship between Batman and the Joker is the most memorable and important part of the Batman mythology, and this book captures all the dysfunctional aspects of their twisted connection to each other. Bolland's breathtaking artwork solidified this as an instant classic. When it comes to Batman comics, The Killing Joke is unquestionably among the very best."

"This is a legendary Batman story. It is very dark and interesting. The whole tone of the story has an ominous undercurrent. I really enjoyed the story and the art in this. It is definitely a must read for all fans of Batman and DC comics."

"If there is one comic that truly encapsulates the dark and complex relationship between Batman and the Joker, it would be The Killing Joke. Many consider this comic as one of the best story tackling their relation and for good reason. It goes deep and psychological. "

"This one-shot attempt at a Joker story turned out to be one of the greatest depicting the dark and complicated relationship between Batman and Joker and how it affects everyone around them."

"Batman The Killing Joke represents one of the magnum opi of the graphic novel genre. At the time of it's release and to this day, it stands as a hallmark of how fascinating a psychological thriller can be. The Joker's origin is sifted through but by the end you will not be sure of any truths as they stand in the DC Comics universe. "

"Presented for the first time with stark, stunning new coloring by Bolland, BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE is Alan Moore's unforgettable meditation on the razor-thin line between sanity and insanity, heroism and villainy, comedy and tragedy. According to the grinning engine of madness and mayhem known as The Joker, that's all that separates the sane from the psychotic. Freed once again from the confines of Arkham Asylum, he's out to prove his deranged point. And he's going to use Gotham City's top cop, Commissioner Jim Gordon, and his brilliant and beautiful daughter Barbara to do it. Now Batman must race to stop his archnemesis before his reign of terror claims two of the Dark Knight's closest friends. Can he finally put an end to the cycle of bloodlust and lunacy that links these two iconic foes before it leads to its fatal conclusion? And as the horrifying origin of the Clown Prince of Crime is finally revealed, will the thin line that separates Batman's nobility and The Joker's insanity snap once and for all? Legendary writer Alan Moore redefined the super-hero with WATCHMEN and V FOR VENDETTA. In BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE, he takes on the origin of comics' greatest super-villain, The Joker —and changes Batman's world forever. Stunningly illustrated, BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE, THE DELUXE EDITION has been lushly re-colored by artist Brian Bolland, presenting his original vision of this modern classic for the first time"

"I decided to purchase this as I was interested in some comic books. I am glad I did because this was a very satisfying read. For the most part, the price of this comic was very worth it, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Alan Moore's other work. We also really see the Joker in a way quite like we've never seen before. "

"Wow i read this book twenty times and my opinion of the book has changed each time. This was one of my all time favorite books. Terrific story line and artwork. this collection is astounding and makes this book a bullet-fast read. Superb origin story of Alan Moore and Brian Bolland Batman: The Killing Joke. A must read for any Batman fan. The Killing Joke is the greatest Joker/Batman story in history, and having Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy reprise their roles as these characters in a legendary story should be perfect, but it’s far from perfect. I would recommend this book to just anyone, , you may love it. I am definitely glad I read it. "
