What the community says about Beyond Good and Evil
- "Friedrich Nietzsche dealt a lot in the concepts of good and evil and how they effect our society and the book based on his writings called Beyond Good and Evil gives you great insight into how he thought and what his thought process was. It doesn't just tell you what makes something good or what makes something evil inherently, but it goes into why society has grouped things in this way. It ties into his entire philosophy and helps you to better understand his mindset when he talks about different things effecting society. ""Beyond Good and Evil is a good book to start with if you want to learn more about Nietzsche because it covers the most important parts of his philosophy. It's also more comprehensive than other choices, so you can really understand. ""Looking to read more Nietzsche? Try starting with Beyond Good and Evil, which is Nietzsche at his best.""If you want to read a book by Nietzsche, this is the one. Check it out!"
- "I doubt it would be possible to obtain a full list of all books that have a title with opposite concepts in it, so I suppose this would be one of the better ones. The ideas contained within will definitely make you think and are worth considering as Nietzsche is a well-known but often misunderstood writer and thinker. I might have to caution against getting this particular book though as some people did mention having various "technical" issues with this printing, translation, PDF, etc."
- "This book is a good fit into this topic category. This book seems to be a masterpiece to read, but there is a silver lining to it that rips through your the heart of your soul that it will make you judge your Christianity beliefs. Some of the different types of translation prints has some missing chapters, too small of prints and/or they included other chapters from other books that do not belong to this book. "
- ""Beyond Good and Evil" provides a good overview of Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy. If you can get only book by Nietzsche, make it this one."
