What the community says about Books of Blood
- "This book was better than I thought it was going to be. I am in a book club at my local college and one of the members suggested that everyone should read it. I was hooked on the book and I finished it in a matter of days. I enjoyed the mystery and tried to figure out what was causing the paranormal activity before the protagonists could. The book create a great, spooky atmosphere and I could never guess what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading oter stories created by this author."
- "I picked up this book after someone told me that Clive Barker has been compared to Edgar Allen Poe, whose works I adore. Books of Blood lives up to the hype, for the most part. Some parts are a bit too slow and unrealistic even for paranormal. I'm glad I read it but probably won't give it a second read. "

in What are the best gore novels"A very good horror book in my opinion. When it comes to novels I think it's very hard to get into a horror themed book because at the supposedly scary parts I just roll my eyes. Books of Blood however is a real page turner and really deserves a read. My only complain is that it's rather short, but all good books have this problem."
