What the community says about Branded Ann
- "Branded Ann is part of a newer breed of books that focuses on a lesbian romantic adventure. I found it to be an interesting change of pace to the typical stories that I read. If you're looking for something new in your literature, you should check out Branded Ann."
- "I really don't know what I can add to the excellent reviews already here. But this book was so compelling I will try (even though I stayed up till 4 am to finish the book!) The fact that the romantic leads are both women is almost irrelevant in light of how fascinating, deep and compelling they both are. This novel is thoroughly enjoyable strictly as a superbly written and very unique Pirate Adventure. (and one that successfully overcomes the stereotypical and overdone "Pirate Story".) The story was unpredictable, the plot twists unexpected, and the payoff very satisfying. The (ahem) "physical interpersonal relationship" is handled very tastefully, and although the "HLS" scenes are few and far between, the sexual tension, (and the way the author teases the reader even as she torments the characters), leaves the romantically inclined -very- satisfied. Almost as much as the adventurer fan is left happy."
- "A quick, decent read, but nothing too special. I certainly wouldn't call this the best of anything. Just another run of the mill lesbian pirate story. It will pass a couple hours well enough, but it really wasn't what i was looking for. I wanted something a little better."
