"Great solution. Gets 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon with over 4400 reviews"

"I have a weakness for paranormal books, especially those that feature demons and angels. City of Bones checks off most of the boxes here, as it's one of the better examples of books in this genre and there are plenty of demons and angels present. Even more importantly, I was impressed with the character development, and I was fully invested in the main character, Clary, and her roller coaster ride of emotions and experiences."

"City of Bones: TV Tie-in (The Mortal Instruments) is a book by Cassandra Clare. It is available from Amazon for $5.35 for a paperback. The story is about Clary Fray and a murder that she witnessed. The killer was invisible and the body vanished. The books a great seller for Amazon and it has great reviews there too. It looks like it is really worth a read. It fits the topic nicely."

"City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments) is one of the best paranormal-romance books for young adults. I gave this to my daughter for her birthday but wanted to read it first. There was some "dicey" subject matter at times...but overall it was a decent story. I thought she would love it but actually wound up liking it myself. It's a solid read and made for a great gift."

"I enjoyed this book as a teen, but coming back to it I found it pretty cringe worthy, unlike a lot of young adult books I used to read. The first time I read it I had gotten it from the school library, and I hadn't had a lot of exposure to the fantasy genre. Some people might like this as a first read into the genre, but I think there are a lot of better novels you could spend your time on."

"City of Bones is a must-read book. It has a lot of different twists and turns that make this book great. I like the heroine, Clary, and her story starts as she sets out to find her kidnapped mother and enlists the help of the Shadow Hunters. It's a long read -- at over 500 pages -- but this story will keep you interested."

"You're better off reading a book like the Twilight, at least that story seems to make some sense. Not a huge fan of the book, it's kind of boring, and the story is hard to follow due to lack of anything that keeps someone interested."

"This book had potential but was really written for a younger audience. It felt like an after school teen drama special. There were demons that needed to be vanquished back to where they came from and angels came to the rescue and the plot was ok, I just would not see myself picking this up to read again in the future. It just seemed to be lacking a lot of substance for more advanced readers like myself. "

"lary Fray is a regular fifteen-year-old girl, who is just trying to go through life with her best friend Simon and find her way in the world. There is no other book quite like this one; it is simply magnificent in every way possible. I love series books because you get time to grow with and learn more about the characters; this is certainly what happens with The Mortal Instruments. "

To be honest it was one of the worst things I've witnessed. This book is great in telling a story about someone that has gone through the same thing to be honest."

"This is an interesting tale of murder, angels, demons, missing persons and danger. All this happens to a teenager who started the evening at the club and finds herself witnessing a murder, seeing the body disappear, her mother disappears and now she is thrown into the world of the Shadowhunters. I truly enjoyed that this was not just a mystery or just a fantasy book, but a combination of genres which made it quite a captivating read."

"I thought this book was very fun and mesmerizing, I loved the plot and the secret world hidden within and all the details that came with the background, awesome. I find books with the heroine finding out who they are to be most the irritating and annoying part but that was not how I felt about this book, the way everything was revealed and unfolded, with its constant action and random but exciting curve balls to be exhilarating. It's so unique, all the characters and the scenery, I very much appreciated the originally of this world"

I got so into it that I ordered the rest of the books in the series the next day and had them shipped. If you are into books about paranormal like wolves, shapeshifters, angels, warlocks, etc then this is for you! There is action, love, deceit, and tons of mystery!"

"City of Bones follows the life of a 15-year old named Clary Fray and the results of witnessing a murder in a club. Except, the culprit is invisible and angels come down, etc. etc. It's quite a weird mesh of supernatural themes, but oddly enough it does actually work. The world is strong and the environment was well set. Sometimes that makes all the difference. I would recommend this as it was actually a really interesting read for me. I do enjoy a good clump of supernatural."
