"One of my favorite reads int he supernatural genre recently has to be Dead Witch Walking. I was a bit burnt out on this genre but this book really sparked my interest. There were elements that this author used that really made me excited to keep reading."

"The world Kim Harrison has created is fascinating. She understands urban fantasy so well. Rachel is a fantastic heroine that is complimented well by her two companions. I couldn't put Dead Witch Walking down and look forward to continuing with the series!"

"This one is just okay for me. It fits the topic but it's not one of the best. There are other, better books out there about female bounty hunters in sci fi and fantasy."

"This was rather fun for me as I enjoy the reading about other worldly things such as vampires and such. Easy to visualize while reading so it holds your attention well."

"Urban fantasy is one of my favorite genres, and Kim Harrison is one of the masters of the genre. Her heroines are total bad-asses who also look great. Dead Witch Walking is another feather in her cap, I couldn't put the book down and loved it. "

"This book does seem to focus on a witch main character, and the user reviews are very favorable. I haven't heard of this author before, but this seems like it'd e right up my alley given this search, and I would want to see more from this author and others like it."
  • Kathleen Wells

"This was an interesting read and the writing really brought the setting to life with all the imagery. It had a great story line and just enough action and adventure."
  • Wayne Oliver

"I thought this book was wonderful. I'm a sucker for anything supernatural, but I was disappointed in how the book ended. There were so many questions I had left that were still unanswered. I know the book has continuing stories, but if you use the same character I think that each book in itself should have its own story and complete it within that book. I don't want to wait until the next book to find out if the questions were answered or not. I loved Dead Witch Talking"

"This is a popular Urban Fantasy series, a genre I find to be rather hit and miss. In this case, a miss. The story gets off to a rather slow start and what we're left with is the kind of well worn, trope ridden story that is all too familiar. Maybe the later books in the series are better. "

"I don't usually read this genre, but it was recommended to me. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone."
  • Henry Young

"Well, if I've got to read one more book about a witch, at least she's hot. Plus she doesn't need a nose job, so she's got that going for her. It's the first of a pretty popular series."
  • Grace Perkins

"The story is fascinating. I usually like stories with witches in and this one was great. The characters were complex but easy to follow."
  • Jose Beck

"Dead witch walking is a pretty spooky book, which is good because that's what it's supposed to be. There's a lot of sexual themes for a young adult novel, however, it never goes too far and it's pretty fun along the way."
  • Danielle Wright

"I got this book for my birthday. I am an avid reader. I must say, i never finished this book. It's concept and charachters seemed too young. I couldn't get into it. It was well written. Not my style though"
