"I am looking for a space opera book with female leads for my book club. We are all women, and enjoy reading fiction about women. I am excited about Destiny Abounds. It is highly rated and looks like an interesting plot. I feel like we might have found a gem! I will definitely be recommending this book to my club."

"It feels quite like a cliche, but then there's a twist. Not a total great read, but it's different and different can be good and this is good. This is an empowering book for the LGBTQ community and am glad to see there's something out there for the community"

"This books setting is unique in that it's a mix of sci-fi and fantasy. There are space ships, alien planets, but also castles and swords and royalty. Worth of look in my book."

"This is a great book. It has interesting characters, a compelling story, and a coherent plot. This book has a variety of cultures included, which is something that is not quite common in a lot of books of this genre. The universe crafted by the author is amazing and full of diversity. Overall, this book is amazing. "

"Destiny Abounds by Annathesa Nikola Darksbane is a strange twist of science fiction for me. I wasn't really expecting the lesbian plot to be so thick but it was alright."

"This isn't a book for this genre and isn't audible. This book is more of a science fiction novel."

"Mark Destiny Abounds from the Starlight Saga as one of the best 21st century lesbian novels. The book delves deep into the humanity and the struggle that being a minority can be while focusing on what love can make possible in our lives. Wonderful novel."

"I'm going to read this, but only because it's free on my kindle. I was slightly disappointed it's not available in any kind of print but decided it's ok."

"I liked reading the book. A captain that puts together a series of misfits with pasts they are hiding from. There's the trusty mechanic, the trusty sidekick, the doctor, the brute who mayhem seems to follow, and the woman who's job is providing pleasure, in whatever form, to the rich. In fact, she even decorates her own space and serves ceremonial tea in a delicate tea set . I would attribute that to coincide, there are differences in the character's sex and backgrounds, but then, the book reads like an actual screenplay. I was more than half-way through and I was still looking for a plot... the story behind bringing together several characters with mysterious backgrounds. There was none that I could see. Just a series of situations they had to fight their way out of. The last third did have more of a plot as they tried to locate a missing person. But I kept wondering why they got together and why they stayed together. The story never answered that question. However in the end, even without an overall story to the book, I enjoyed what I read. But there needs to be more of a reason for these characters to be together and stay together."

"This book meets the need of a fiction book about lesbians, as it is a science feature lesbian novel, that is a part of the Starlight Saga series of books. "
