"Destroy Me (The Obsession) is a perfect solution for best steamy novels with violence, because it is a popular romance novel with violence."
  • Eduardo Mora

""Destroy Me" (The Obsession) is largely a sexually graphic romance novel with weak character development and plot. This particular work has been assigned largely below-average reader reviews, and predominantly negative to only moderately positive reader assessments pertaining to its readability, plot substance, character development and treatment, realism and language usage. "Destroy Me (The Obsession) is a collection of novels about a woman who falls in love with a man who has dark secrets. If you enjoy books about BDSM and slave and captive stories then this book will keep your imagine going. "

"This was not good....not at all. I found myself skimming paragraphs just to finish it. This was easy to do because I already knew there was going to be some spanking and hard sex. Really, how many times can you read it?"

"This book didn't do it for me. I find the writing mediocre, the characters stale and the plot riddled with cliches. I was looking for something to really escape into, not to fall asleep with. There are many other books in this realm that are far better."

"This is not the best anything. Rough, vague and unrealistic. Not even fun. Avoid. "

"1) It came off like a rough draft... something that no one had read and approved. The dialogue was so vague for a start. 2) The 5-7 times they had sex in a row with a huge lack of details. It was boring by the third time. 3) Even by the end, the male lead can't even have a normal conversation with the woman he 'loves'... he makes her talk to his therapist WHO TELLS HER ALL THE PATIENT'S PRIVATE INFORMATION."

"Destroy Me (The Obsession) is a book I found after reading 50 shades of grey and it is a similar type of story but darker. I won't get into the kinky details but let me just say, there is plenty of kink. If you are into rough and tumble love this book wont disappoint."

"A very dark and disturbing book. I couldn't relate to any part of the story and felt dirty after reading it. Can't say I recommend it but it is at least different."

"If you are looking for steamy and sexy you have come to the right place! If you're looking for well written this may not be the one. Although it is entertaining it is not the best book I have ever read, it was just alright. "

"Destroy Me (The Obsession) written by Laura Bailey is probably one of the best romance/action novels that a young adult could find. I was not expecting much from this book but it really surprised me."

"This novel is great! I assure you that you will not be bored and will enjoy the entire collection from start to finish. I have read it a few times now and do not get tired of it. If you do read it know that it is strong and not adequate for children."
