"I have never been a big fan of historical romance but my wife suggested I read this book when she was finished. I was really impressed with the world building but, more importantly, this book allowed me to communicate with my wife about something she is interested in. I will always have fond memories of the conversations we had about this novel. "

"This book is highly reviewed and rated for a reason. This book takes place in the past, taking you to another place. The story is really good. This is a part of a series, and easily one of the best. "

"It is an interesting story in the book. I only wish I hadn't started with the third book in the series. It is a good read and I like the fact that reading it I felt as though I had gone back in time. This is how a good book should be."

"This love story is the third in the Wallflowers series, but can easily be enjoyed as a stand-alone. However, it is recommended to read the previous entries first, as to get a better appreciation of the characters."

"I'm not sure I would consider this romance novel to have a 'disabled' main character, but she certainly has had a difficult past. Read how she grows and overcomes adversity . Get yourself swept up in this budding romance. There is some terrific character development as well."

"I loved it. I really cared about these characters and looked forward to seeing where the plot would take them. This definitely was one of the most romantic books I've read, with tender, swoon-worthy dialogue and fabulous love scenes. I appreciated the witty banter and colorful supporting characters, too. I found myself chuckling out loud many times. From start to finish I was drawn in and couldn't put it down. This truly was a wonderful read, and I was sorry to see it end."

"Very entertaining book. It's has some similarities to classic English literature, but it's incredibly nuanced and unique. I really enjoyed this novel."

"Desperate to escape her scheming relatives, Evangeline Jenner has sought the help of the most infamous scoundrel in London. A marriage of convenience is the only solution. No one would have ever paired the shy, stammering wallflower with the sinfully handsome viscount. It quickly becomes clear, however, that Evie is a woman of hidden strength—and Sebastian desires her more than any woman he's ever known."

"While I may not personally consider Devil in Winter (Wallflowers) one of the best novels with winter in the title, quite a few people have enjoyed reading it. In order for me to consider it one of the best, I'd have to see that the book had a higher following than it does. "

"Devil in Winter is a somewhat outlandish historical romance that can be read alone or with the other novels in it's series. It involves two unlikely lovers that marry for convenience and tease each other with a celibacy game, but ultimately fall in love. The heroine, though abused, is a strong female lead against a rake who must reform himself. Surprisingly relatable and entertaining."

"The Devil in Winter is book 3 of a 6 book series that follows Evangeline Jenner who is desperate to escape her relatives. It's an entertaining romance novel that shows her making dealings with the devil in order to be with her husband. It's definitely a good story to pickup."

"This book is sort of creepy at times and lacks a modern concept of love. In this way, it must be taken for what it is. Sebastian fell in love with Evie and seemed to become obsessed with her after having sex one time. While if taken from a romanticized tone this is romantic, from the perspective of a realist, this is creepy. You will love this book depending on what perspective you take. I personally loved seeing Evie get swept off her feet and having Sebastian come in the rescue her. This was a great tale. Definitely not for all ages though. Don’t let your young kids read this, I made that mistake and decided to read it myself after. Strong themes in this book!"

"This is a historical romance novel, which is something that I usually don't read. On a lark I picked it up because I felt like I needed to switch up some of the genres that I've been reading lately. I found the story to be a little slow for my taste and the historical aspect didn't do much for me. In the end I never finished the book."

"Truly one of the best romance novels I have ever read. It was difficult to put down and I did not want this book to end. The heroine's story is very well developed, she suffers many things in this world. I was so swept away by this book, I finished it in just 2 days. "
