"Read this after seeing the movie and found it to be better. It better explains the story and themes of humanity. But there's a lot to break down and it might take multiple readings to figure it all out."

"A thought-provoking read. The author presented some very interesting ideas, a good series of plots in my opinion. The end turned out to be something unexpected, I was on the edge of my seat the entire final chapter. "

"This book is exactly what I am looking for in this genre. I wasn't sure what to expect with a classic cyberpunk book but now I understand what it means. I binge read this book over the weekend and it was so hard to put down. It was chilling and exciting. Do yourself a favor and read this."

"This does not seem like my type of book to read but if you are into tech sci fi, this is prefect for you. I suppose this could be a solution to the problem classic cyberpunk book. It does have that cyber element to it and is of course a book."

"This is a fantastic series of books, and not just because of the movies it has inspired. It doesn't fit the frame for cyberpunk though - it's about androids that are being hunted and prevented from entering human society."

"Philip K. Dick was known for his imaginative stories, and the titles were imaginative, meaningful, through-provoking, and attention-grabbing as well. "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" is no different. It asks the real important questions and addresses the themes present in the book."

"This book contains a song name in its title. Interestingly, the song is actually a reference to the book rather than the other way around. Both Mississippi Bones and Diesel Christ sang a version of it. This is a fun pop culture book reference in the sci-fi genre."

"As an author who changed the world's view towards postmodernism in society, Philip K. Dick managed to both be one of the most brilliant writers of his generation, and the author of extremely entertaining modern-day classic books. I read this thought provoking novel and found it full of dramatic plot twists. I know this novel is an excellent choice for a hard core science fiction aficionado like me, and for anybody who seeks to be entertained by a great book."

"You never know which you would like better, the movie or the book. In this case, I like the book better. The book tells more than the movie did and has more suspense. Not sure about it being the best novels set in California as it can be hard to understand, but I am sure it is not the least liked novel set in California. "
