"This book is perfection. I've read it too many times to count and it still brings me to tears every time. The story and the way she tells it is flawless. This is my favorite book and I always read it no matter where I left off before."

"I was looking for a book that dealt with rape and sexual assault topics as kind of a learning tool for my young daughter. I picked up Dreamland because I thought it dealt with those kind of topics. However, it didn't have anything related to it in the book, so I was disappointed. It might be a good book, but it didn't have what I was looking for."

"Yes, well that cover - the heart inside of glass, or is it ice?- tells you everything you need to know before you open this book. A worthy effort, but I never really warmed up to the central character, Caitlin, so I found it difficult to care what happened to her. You might like her and this book better than I did."

"This book seems like a good start. Sarah Dessen is a fantastic writer, and her books are really popular. However, I would have chosen "Crank" by Ellen Hopkin, or any of her books really, for the answer to the topic."

"Intriguing story. Sounds more like an adult novel than a young adult one, but thats not the question here. Great reviews. "

"Dreamland is a quirky love story. It is fun and an easy read and details real problems that teens face. It is not your typical love story though. It is the story of a young woman trying to find herself after an unexpected turn of events. She meets the love of her life and we read along as she finds herself and learns to forgive at the same time. You will be totally engrossed in this book and won't be able to put it down until the last page. "

"This answer brought me back! I remember reading Sarah Dessen as a teen and her books really bring out those intense emotions teens often feel. It's possible though that this book might be a little alienating toward boys, at least stereotypically. "

"Dreamland is a tale with a fantasy atmosphere that has a somber theme. A title that is innocent but has pretty dark themes throughout"

"Dreamland is a very powerful book the tells the story of a young who struggles with love. It deals with sensitive subjects like sex, drugs, and physical abuse, but its a gripping read nonetheless. Love is a journey ad Dreamland proves this is no exception. "

"I dislike this book for the story line of the "bad girl" persona. I read it to the end but will not ready any others."
