"I was recommended this book by one of my close friends and did not think that it was all that great. I had a very hard time connecting with the main character. I also was not very interested in the drama that was in the story. I just felt that the story lacked any kind of wow factor that made feel like I needed to keep reading. I have read much better books and I would suggest reading something else. "

"I recently bought the book "Evermore (The Immortals)" for my daughter, so she could finally figure out what does it mean to have no family. Hopefully she will appreciate her family more after reading the book."

"This novel is a teen fantasy/suspense book which is reminiscent of the "Twilight" series. Plenty of angst and very addictive if you fit the target demographic. The face on the cover is suitably represented - gazing down, full of mystery, a solitary flower highlighted in bright scarlet. A good read, especially suited for 12-16 year old readers."

"This young adult new series has a promising start in Evermore: The Immortals. This is teen literature at its best: wonderfully clever, lots of fantasy to keep you engaged, and honest portrayals of young, confused love. The twists are surprising without seeming overwrought and the dialogue is realistic. Can't wait for the next book to continue on this journey with Ever!"

"If you have been looking for a paranormal romance novel then Evermore:The Immortals is amazing. This is a sexy novel that explores tragedy in life from an alien perspective."
  • Thomas Pearson

"Drivel. This book was very one dimensional and borrowed far too many elements from other series. The characters were flat and the book just not very entertaining. "
  • Jeremy Willis
    Written on April 26, 2018
"Evermore (The Immortals) was not what I had anticipated. It was very 1 dimensional and too similar to Twilight which was a major turn off. There were way too many parallels for me to even see this as a different story than Twilight. Thats all I could think about. "

  • Juan Antonio Ortega

"I love to read romance novels. I wanted something more oriented toward teens, so I tried out Evermore: The Immortals. This is the first book in the Immortals series and is really awesome. It tells the tale of Ever Bloom, a 16-year-old girl. It follows her on her journey after her family gets killed in an accident. She meets Damen Auguste and her life changes. Definitely check it out if you love teen romance novels!"

"I love this book Evermore: The Immortals. It is the first book in the series that gives you the best paranormal and fantasy romance experience. It’s about a young girl that lost his family in an accident and afterwards started to know their thoughts. The styles of writing got me gripped and it good some good page turner. "

"My daughter wanted to buy this. I read the summary. It looks like someone just cut and pasted the Twilight plot and changed a few words. The main character's name is "Ever Bloom". Seriously. Granted, the author's name is "Alyson Noel", so hideously pretentious names probably goes without saying. What astounds me is that there were at least 606 people who actually paid money for this fecal brick of a book. "

"Evermore: The Immortals is a book by Alyson Noël. It is available from Amazon for $8.84 for a paperback. It is the beginning story in the Immortals series. It is the story of Ever Bloom and how she lost her family in an accident. She can see everyone's aura and know there thoughts just by making contact with them. It somewhat fits the topic."
  • Jacqueline Brown

"The book itself does not seem to be bad. The content could be better for the price asking. It is overall interesting with a decent plot."
  • Lawrence Black

"Evermore is just not my cup of tea. I'm sure it will fly in today's day and age of simple teenage reading, but this just does nothing for me."
  • Patricia Bradley
    Written on May 6, 2018
"The author of this book did a good job with character building and description. Unfortunately, we have all read this same story in many popular "paranormal" novels. It is a repetitive, typical, teenage story. Nothing was new or surprising."
