"This is a classic read! All science fiction fans should read this book. Bradbury's prose is amazing. He reels you in, and makes you see and think about things in a whole different light. Read this book, you will love it!"

"I don't know who Emma Roberts is but I assume she would recommend this book. Most people groan when they see this book because they were forced to read it in high school and think very hard about it but this book is one of the best out there for a recommendation by anyone."

"his is a classic of dystopian fiction. The scary thing is, though some elements are over the top, much is too accurate. Bradburry rightly predicts (originally published in 1951) that books won't be banned by the government or people in the majority for challenging the status quo, but instead, books will be questioned or banned for offending some group or another. We see this happening today, especially with elements of history that people do not like. He also predicted the heavy use of what are basically headphones. I went for a walk this morning and noticed every one of the dozen or so people I saw had headphones in. "

"This is a dystopian novel that is lower on the alarming scale than other famous dystopian books like 1984. The book is interesting, thought-provoking and almost prophetic, but the character development is weak at times. If you're lookong for a book with numbers in the title, this is likely to be one of the best ones out there."

"I believe that Fahrenheit 451 is a strong candidate for the the best book with numbers in it. To say it is the best is subjective. It is however the best book that I have read with numbers in the title."

"I love dystopian stories because they often tap into some of the most difficult problems and concepts facing society right now. Fahrenheit 451 is no different because it deals with governing bodies destroying information that does not agree with their cause. I find this to be a style of propaganda and it reminds me of real life stories I have heard that are similar."

"Can you imagine a world without books? And only TV for entertainment? Fahrenheit 451 brings 1984 to life on the Animal Farm. But of course those books won't exist in a world where book burning reigns. Why humans are so important to control is beyond me. Is it the collective mind power that TPTB fear? But who are those in control? Maybe this book sheds a light on that answer."

"I read this book years ago because I was a fan of the show Ray Bradbury Theater, and this one was recommended to me by a friend. I thought the premise was interesting enough, so I gave it a go. As it turned out, I really was not a fan of Mr. Bradbury's writing style. I actually found this kind of boring, and I found the dialogue to be drab, and unrealistic. Not something I would recommend. "This is a classic book by Ray Bradbury that everyone needs to read! It helps you understand some of the great civil liberties we have been granted in our great nation of America. This book is critical for all citizens and students to read so that they can understand their rights. Plus it is a great story to enjoy! I highly recommend that anyone read this novel."

"Most people probably read this in high school, or at least knew someone who did--and that's a good thing. Bradbury is a wonderful author and Fahrenheit 451 is one of his absolute best. A truly chilling dystopian look at the suppression of ideas, this book is applicable to any age and any location. We take freedom for granted, but you'll rethink that after reading this true classic. One of my all-time favorites."

"This book is a classic and ahead of it's time. This is often on high school reading lists, and rightly so as you can draw parallels in society even today. I highly recommend it for teenagers, because they are at an age where they can think a bit more about how society functions and put them ahead of the curve, rather than just laugh it off (though it's good for adults too in that respect)."

"Fahrenheit 451 is an interesting book about a totalitarian regime and the chaos and power that can come from being a strict ruler. That is, creativity dies and everyone becomes part of the hive. I found it quite interesting, and I really really enjoyed it. I highly recommend you read it not just for entertainment value, but as a history lesson and warning. You can never get enough reminders about the potential troubles and downfall of too much power."

"You know the saying "knowledge is power"? Fahrenheit 451 is the perfect example of truly understanding that saying. It should be a required for everyone to read (pretty sure it was a school assignment for me). Don't be just another follower...stand up, resist, and think for yourself! "

"Fahrenheit 451 is an excellent example of a timeless story of what can happen when a society becomes too complacent. I have read this book many times and find it relevant every single time. There is not ultimate "happy ending" in the book, but it ends on the potential of what we can do and that makes it a good hopeful type of story. This book is one that everyone should read. "

"Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel by American writer Ray Bradbury, published in 1953. It is regarded as one of his best works. The novel presents a future American society where books are outlawed and "firemen" burn any that are found. where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. better pictures for the readers."

"Fahrenheit 451 is a cautionary, dystopian story of what could happen here if we are not careful. Books are banned and burned by a repressive regime. Ironically, it's a book that has been banned by many school districts and libraries. The most important way this book has influenced America is in giving activists and politicians a common term to use in warning of a fascistic future. Unfortunately, that term is getting all too useful lately."

"I really enjoyed this as it was just easy enough to read but intricate enough to make you sit and think. To be honest, it's a book that makes you ask questions. Some people may not like that, but it's a narrative that personally appeals to me. It's an interesting thing when you realize that here, in 2018, it alluded to a lot of the attitudes that currently surround us. For example, as an informational generation, we rely upon the Internet for everything and our attention spans have gone way down as we have also become a 'have now' generation."
