"This was a fun read, especially if you're a fan of Greek mythology. The character development was good and storyline was interesting as well."

"I wanted to step outside the box for a little bit for my 9th grade students. This book was quite the hit. Even my male students enjoyed it. "

"This does not have much in the way of Greek influence. It really has nothing to do with that. This solution is not great in my opinion."
  • Juan Snyder

"I like the storyline. The plot intrigues me. I love fantasy novels and Kings, Queens, and other middle age themed tales are fascinating. I would bu the paperback at 8.49."

"This ovel, while not entirely based on traditional Greek mythology, is certainly related with mythology and the underworld. It's a fairly ok solution."
  • Wayne Hunt

"The description is sufficient. The recommended book is about Persephone but I see no mention of Hades anywhere in the page."

"I actually liked this book and appreciated the modern take on Greek mythology. While the story can be a little melodramatic at times, the plot is pretty decent and the characters are each unique and interesting. I felt a strong connection to the main character, Kate, and I think that's what made me want to keep reading and see how she solves the mystery of her king's abduction. I think it was a good book overall."

"Pretty good book and the story is interesting...and heart breaking! I must say, though, that my favorite books with Greek mythology is "The lightening thief", Percy Jackson series. Our kids read them and I read them and enjoyed as much as they did. Percy Jackson books are action packed, have great characters, great stories and good clean books. Goddess Interrupted is a bit darker."
