"Bought these for my wife and she liked them. Not her favorites but she said they were good."

"I love both Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett so this seemed like an easy choice when it came to deciding to pick this book up. This book is absolute perfection. It has so much satire and irony in a fantasy setting. It's like reading H.P. Lovecraft in a sitcom setting. Just a very fun book to read."

"A perfect solution! This book recommendation was the genre I was looking for, and struck exactly the right humorous tone."

"What an incredible book. I am totally impressed by the depths they went to to craft this story. I'm actually planning on rereading it soon to pick up anything I might have missed. Parts of it are terrifying and all of it is intriguing."

"The world will end on Saturday. Next Saturday. Just before dinner, according to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch, the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies written in 1655. The armies of Good and Evil are amassing and everything appears to be going according to Divine Plan. Except that a somewhat fussy angel and a fast-living demon are not actually looking forward to the coming Rapture. And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist. Put New York Times bestselling authors Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett together . . . and all Hell breaks loose."

"Absolutely hysterical! Anything Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett write is worth the read, and this is no exception. Buy it, and read it again and again. Whenever you need a laugh, this is a go to book."

"Good Omens is written by one of my favorite authors, Neil Gaiman, and this is a very excellent and intriguing story all around. I especially loved the fact that the story touches on some religious topics that can be applied to today's religions. It was not too long of a read for me either. "

"The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch is a collaboration between Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. The book was a little quirky overall as a read. “It has been said that civilization is twenty-four hours and two meals away from barbarism.”"

"After reading Good Omens I was surprised that this was considered one of the best book of the 1990s. I was also surprised that the solution to this problem only resulted in one book? While Good Omens was a decent read and I appreciated Gaiman and Pratchett's collaboration and writing style I do believe there were so many more books written that were better candidates for best book in the 1990s. "Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett are two of the best writers around in my opinion, and I love this book! Laugh out loud funny. It is totally irreverent, but that is part of its charm. This is a light, entertaining book that you cannot take seriously. Just enjoy the read!"

"This isn't a book that a religious person would enjoy unless they have a good sense of humor. It's not exactly true to the Bible so it would probably offend some people. I think it's a fun and enjoyable story to read. It's not what I expected at all."
  • Alice Munoz

"Entertaining, goofy, and has all the best traits of the separate authors, combined into a story chock full of awesomeness. If you like the Discworld novels OR Neil's goofier work, then you owe it to yourself to pick this up."

"Neil Gaiman is one of my favorite authors. When I heard he did a collaboration with Terry, I just had to check it out. It has a very biblical yet realistic story to it and the writing is fantastic of course. It is actually quite a funny book! Surprised as I may be, it was enjoyable!"

"I really like reading about Gods/Goddesses...and it's always great to find books about them. This one isn't quite what I was looking for in that regard...but it's still a really good book. It's funny and entertaining. "

"When I typed in my search for best books to make you laugh, I was really looking for joke books, or comedy books, maybe something written by a comedian. Good Omens on the surface appears to be a mishit, but when I read further into the description of the book, it apparently is supposed to be a spoof, and according to reviews, a pretty funny one. This might actually be something I'm interested in, so I am excited by this unique recommendation."

"If you are into Supernatural books that lean on religion and have a side of quirk, then Good Omens is definitely for you. I wouldn't say that it is at all a fantasy book but it is a great Supernatural/Paranormal book that I would highly recommend."
