"Gerald is an elephant and a boy and Piggie is, well, a piggie, and a girl and they are best friends and two of my granddaughter's favorite characters. The story centers around a broken toy and teaches the lesson that it much more fun to play with friends that to play with toys. I think if you take a look at the expressiveness that Mo Willems puts into his illustrations that you will become a fan."

"This book blew my child's mind. My son had never seen such colorful art and it shocked him. I picked the book up for him when we went to a book store because he loved the cover. We went through the book together when we got home and he was so inspired by it that he decided to pick up drawing as a hobby."

"This book is a little bit early for three years old children. It is best for 4 to 8 years old. It is a good book though."
