"Relating the story of Hititte kings, especially one in particular, I, the Sun tells about a person who was widely respected because of his conquests, yet was unable to conquer what was important--true love. A very good fiction overall."

"This is another book that is not extremely well known, but is so superbly written. If you enjoy watching Game of Thrones or reading that novel, this book is perfect for you! It is based on the ancient civilization of Hittites. It combines family betrayal, lust, revenge, war and love. Although only 68 people took the time to review this book, it received almost a perfect rating, 4.8 stars! I can't recommend this book enough! "

"Whoa! Some people use the phrase history comes alive, well this is literally true of this book. This is absolutely beautifully written. historical fiction has a reputation as being dry as a drying cloth, but this is fresh and moist as an ocean or fecund bog. What a treat it is to read of the ancients and their civilizations. Not disappointing!"

"I, The Sun written by Janet Morris is an ancient story told in the time of the Hititte kings. A tragic love story this follows Suppiluliumas who could defeat all of his enemies but not conquer the woman he loved. A fun read."
