"Child abuse is a subject that plagues our nation and nations around the world. A subject no one wants to discuss and prays never happens to their own children. Ellen Hopkins is able to capture the raw emotions of twin sisters throughout the pages of this young adult fiction book. The author tackled child abuse in a way that left me wanting to read more and on the verge of tears at the same time. "

"This is a book about sibling relationships - more importantly, about twins. I felt it was a pretty slow read, and would not read it again though. It bored me quite a bit."

"adult books about sins, secrets, responsiblity and twins. When there is a scapegoat, which will sacrifice and will the truth be unveiled"

"This seems like a fair solution to the topic. It is a story about 2 young adults and their struggles. In the description it does not say anything right out about eating disorders but it could contain it based on the everything disclosed about it. This is a new york times best seller and is a favorite of many."

"This book really touches on the subject of eating disorders and the destruction they can cause. It's well written and appropriate, but also heartbreaking."

"This book is not very cheerful. I think it is one of Ellen Hopkins best books. It is not for me. I read it once because it was in the book club. I have not read it again."

"This book seems like a good book for anyone who has a struggle in life. However it should not be any best of category because of the limited number of people who have read it. The reviews are mostly great on Amazon, but only a few hundred people have read the book since it's publishing date."

"I couldn't put this book down. Subject matter didn't dark me out at all, but those are my own issues... Its a fun quick read, and if you don't like it and are complaining about her style of writing grab the audio book for free. Its worth it, unless you're chicken."
