- "If you are looking to make sushi, I would suggest getting International Sushi Lovers: Learn How to Make Sushi at Home from This Great Sushi Cookbook. It has made what seemed like a daunting task much easier for me. I am really pleased that I brought this book."
- "This is a cool idea: sushi at home. A lot of different ethnic foods tend to get fairly Americanized but usually when you see someone making sushi it is a Japanese guy in white coat. Now you can give it a shot yourself. I'd say I'm a mid-level cook. I like try things out but by technique isn't so great. I can follow directions though, and the book gives pretty clear directions. The recipes I tried came out looking and tasking like... sushi. That was the goal. It is kind of fun, and I've eaten homemade sushi three times in two weeks now. This might be a new habit. If you are a home cook who likes to try different ethnic cuisines, then you might want to add this one to you collection."
