What the community says about Jane Eyre (Collins Classics)
- "I had to read Jane Eyre in school. It has since found a place on my bookshelf. My nephew had to read it this year and hated it. That was to be expected. I can't wait until my niece has to read it, as she is much more of a reader than her brother, and I feel that she will enjoy the story of the orphaned girl. Jane Eyre is an interesting protagonist that I feel a teenage girl can relate to on some level. Hopefully she enjoys it even half as much as I did.""The best classic book for teens is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. It is a fictional novel that centers around an orphan named Jane. Although treated horribly by her relatives and sent away to a boarding school, rises up despite all the obstacle put in front of her."
- "Jane Eyre is a good runner up to one of my favorite classics Wuthering Heights. Now with Jane Eyre I feel the story was more touching, since Jane was an orphan who was treated terribly by her relatives. I can relate to this and I feel that Jane Eyre is a classic story with a lot of heart. The trials and tribulations that Jane has to go through make for a compelling story with a lot of growth and discover. I feel this has always been a somewhat underrated classic, but not for me, it's one of my top classic novels."
