"I like the story line about a sister helping her sick little brother. This book is more for a juvenile reader."

"A really fun book that covers all the emotions. It's rated well and the author has many more books to read. Worth the time to read it."
  • Andrea Perkins

"This novel sounds amazing. It shows the sweet side of siblings and it shows the lengths someone is willing to go to make someone they love happy."

"I'm going to have to take the side of the 'superstar' in this one; when a seventeen year old girl drives up and attempts to kidnap a star to grant a young boy's wish before his cancer surgery, action and excitement are merely part of the game; risk and danger to your life is never too far from this child."

"It starts off slow but then really picks up in the last several chapters. My 13 year old daughter loved it! It's fiction, and so the Hollywood star is not a real personality, if that is important, but it's a fun Young Adult read. Best suited for middle school/high school readers."

" Cancer is scary. This book tells a funny tale to help children deal with it."
  • Jane Campbell

"I think this is a sweet, and funny (and a little sad) romance novel for the teen set. It's a little cliche, but that is exactly what you would want/expect from a romance novel targeted towards teens. It doesn't break any new ground, but there is stuff there that makes you think. "

"Seventeen year old, Anna Truman, is ready to fulfill her brother's wish before his surgery. Get ready to go on a zany adventure which features snakes, bows and arrows, and the paparazzi. "

"Wow. That was something. Didn't see the end coming. Excellent. So well-written. Loved it. Again, like another of her works I read recently, an abrupt ending, but a great ending, nonetheless. I highly recommend it. I laughed out loud at so many parts I thought I would waken my children. She is an excellent writer, obviously very experienced and talented. This is the story of a teen girl who will do just about anything so that her little brother who has cancer will get his wish. She does some quite hilarious and imaginative things for her little brother's wish to come true. This is a wonderful story about families and sacrifices, and love. Some great literary elements of foreshadowing interwoven throughout and a bit of suspense. Lots of great comedy scattered around balances everything out very well. Clean and romantic and a superb plot. I highly recommend this book."
