"Having read all five books in the series, this is the best of the bunch so far. If Nemesis Games is wrapped up satisfactorily in the sequel, then I might have a change of heart, but Leviathan Wakes sets the stage for the Expanse and is still the most satisfying of the existing five."

"Excellent scifi book. It has a lot of drama so if you're into science fiction and drama I would highly recommend it. This book was bought for me as a gift for my 17th birthday. I have always been a scifi geek and I got really into the story. Highly recommended!"

"Not a bad way to begin my Monday morning by reading something that is worthwhile and I got that with this book. Stumbling across an abandoned ship and finding something that will threaten life as we know it. I call that exiting and worth the read and not to mention this futuristic book has moxie. "

"This is the first in the series. If you want to follow this series start with this one first, otherwise you might be lost reading the second one. This is up there with the best in the space opera genre. I really liked this book, and I can't wait to dig into the second one."
