"I love realistic chick-lit fiction novels and having three teens at home I often end up reading their books. So we all read "Lola and the Boy Next Door" as a family and we loved it! It felt true and heartfelt to me. It was able to captivate me as much as it did my kids. Overall it's really well written and easy to relate to."

"While I loved this book, it really isn't meant for a teen reading level. It can definitely still be enjoyed by teenagers though. It has a cute, charming romance between two quirky and relatable characters and isn't too complicated of a read."

"Great book about being a teenager and falling in love. Makes you feel like you are in high school all over again. Very charming book. You will want to keep reading it until you are finished."

"Really funny and engaging. The author really knows how to put together a great cast of characters. Just fluff reading here, nothing that's going to keep you up at night."

"I love this book! It's got twists and turns, exploring the on-going relationships we all have with people over long periods of time. I wasn't looking to get caught up in the world of Anna and Lola, and now the Bell twins, but they've charmed their way in, despite cringing through their mistakes as we all make as young adults. "

"This book series is fun, because they overlap a little, but not so much that it really affects the story. A fun universe of books to read."

"My daughter loves to read these books about romance and heartbreak. When she asked for this book, I bought it without much thought. For the next couple days all I seen was my daughter reading this book, unable to put it down. If you have a teenager that loves to read, this book is a excellent choice for them."

"This book was garbage. I hate YA bullshit. 0/5 don't recommend."
  • Amy Foster

"Lola and the Boy Next Door is a prime example of a great book about cute teenage love. It is the second book in the series however so you may want to read that one first before you dive into this book. I really enjoyed learning about the protagonist and how she finds her way through young love. "
