"When we talk about an assassin manga, Lone Wolf and Cub will always be my top pick. It was published a long time ago but its story never fades until now. "

"Lone Wolf and Cub (Vol. 1) is one of my favorite mangas. It is kind of depressing, but the story is so addicting and I love the characters. A must read."

"Lone Wolf and Cub is beautifully drawn and narrated manga that has finally found its way to America. This samurai tale is sprawling and large; I love how much it captures of history, myth, and humanity. The illustrations alone would be worth it--detailed and gorgeous, almost cinematic in nature. Take your time with these--the series is very long but you'll find yourself, like me, not wanting to leave the world as seen through the eyes of these great artists."
