"Love Is A Stranger is about a gay man falling in love with his boss. The story is intriguing and the writing is solid. I would read a chapter before bed, but often ended up staying up way to late as I was too engrossed in the story. I recommend this book if you are looking for gay romance."

"Great first story in a book series. It's a different story type, but will be a great read for those who like these story lines!"
  • Ajay Dasgupta

"I think this is less of a thriller, and more of a straight forward (no pun intended) gay erotica. Is that the kind of thing that you're into? Then hey this might just be the book for you!"

" Love Is A Stranger (More Heat Than The Sun) is perfect for those looking for a gay alpha male brawl of sex. This is a good book with many strong male personalities coming together and loving each other. The story gets steamy as the two find ways to profess thier love as alphas and find thier position. "

"This is a compelling story of when a forbidden love should be pursued and when it is safer to retreat. Loving someone in secret can be exciting, but also lonely; it can be thrilling, but also scary. As I read this book, I found myself questioning when a socially taboo love is acceptable and by whose standards. When this love is pursued, are the risks and secrets worth it."

"This does not have a very good biker theme to it. If I was looking for a book about gay bikers, I would probably skip this one."

"This is the first book in the series and introduces us to Ben Rider, and the intriguing Nik Mikkelsen, his boss in a secret British undercover group. Ben is younger than Nik, and also more idealistic and open in his affections. Nik has secrets from his past which cause him to be more distant and detached than Ben, and when more of his background is slowly revealed we understand how he became the man he projects to the world. The author has built an amazing story here, and filled it with wonderful characters with brilliantly complicated motivations, histories, loyalties, and thoughts. The swift moving plot-lines along with wonderfully detailed main and secondary characters combine to make this a first class read, Highly recommended!"

"I'm not a big romance novel fan. I also think the whole boss and employee storyline is overdone."
  • Frances Long

"More books need to be written for crossdressing gays so people can understand they aren't freaks, but people. This is a love story with a different twist, and I got caught up in the love story, not the circumstances so much, although it's part of the struggle."
