"This is one of the best books by Jackie Collins. I love the love story in this book. I feel it she made a very dynamic approach the way she told it. I do like the characters in the book. It seems very realistic the way she describes the hookers and drug addicts. "

"I did not like this book. I not into gambling and rock parties. This was not a good romance novel. It was a waste of my money."

"You know precisely what you're getting yourself into when you pick up a Jackie Collins novel: a sugarcoated tale of glamour and lust with a exciting and racy backdrop. None of the writing is particularly innovative, but it is done with great aplomb and a certain gusto that more reserved young writers would do well to take notes from. This type of novel won't be to everyone's taste, but it still represents a charming if somewhat risque slice of 70's Americana."

"Decent amount of customer reviews combined with high rating make it stand out. It also compares very well to competitors."

"I understand this is written by Jackie Collins, but it wasn't great. It was hardly even good. Sure, some of the scenes are hot, and that's why we're all reading, but after a while it didn't really do anything for me. Also, the rest of the book is a bit tough to get through. Save your time and money."

"While this is definitely a cornerstone in early romance books, it is unfortunately filled with racism, sexism, and misogyny. The story itself is okay, but quite dated, having come out in 1978. It is a relatively quick read, coming in at 624 pages."

"Great romance novel. If you are looking for some a bit more erotic, I would find another book to read. If you want romance with some erotic nature then this would be a good novel for you."

"This is a great erotic story. The author is well known in this genre, and keeps the reader turning pages until the end."
