What the community says about Medusa the Mean
- "I’ve always been a fan of the Greek Gods and the stories that accompany them. When I saw this book for my daughter I picked it up hoping it would get her interested as well. I was very happy when she latched on to this one and couldn’t put it down. They made the illustrations fun and the stories approachable for this generation. "
- "I absolutely love greek mythology so this book was right down my alley. I read it last year to our daughter while we were vacationing in the Bahamas so I could put her to sleep. The main character is modeled after the famous Medusa and her life in a training academy of the gods."
- "I absolutely LOVE the Goddess Girl series. As a lifelong fan of both mythology and children's literature, I started the series before I knew I was pregnant with my daughter. After she was born, I started over with book 1 and read them aloud at her bedtime. I just know she will enjoy the set on her own when she gets older. That being said, Medusa the Mean doesn't disappoint. The authors do a wonderful job detailing exactly why Medusa is so mean and why she does and says the things she does. But I must stop with that because I don't want to give any spoilers."
