What the community says about Meeting with Christ and Other Poems
- "I found these poems relatively easy to read but also deeply compelling. In Meeting with Christ and Other Poems Deepak Chaswal is able to give us a peek at the human condition through the poetic use of language. I felt as if each poem brought me further into his world and was moved and philosophical at the same time."
- "Unarguably beautifully written. The words flow gracefully and elicit a peaceful state after a while. I'm not a big poetry reader, but I was really drawn in this collection of poems because of the elegant, thoughtful style, and the depth of the author's musings. But the emphasis on Christ is a bit offputting for an atheist like me, although I don't see anything remotely bad about his teachings, if the man ever existed. But the religious fervor that sometimes surfaces in the poems made it harder for me to fully embrace the work. Still beautiful though."

in What are the best poetry books"I thought this would be a highly religious book and I wouldn't like it, but the high ratings it has made me curious. The writing style of Deepak is incredible, he is such a talented poet that can make you think and touch your heart with his writings. The selection of poems is beautiful and original and I think is a must read for all the poetry lovers out there. ""These poems were spellbinding. Meeting Christ and other poems are humbling and touching. A very comfortingl book to read."
