"Not into baseball that much so I didn't like it. I usually keep to non-fiction."

"This is a wonderful children's series. I bought it for my son, who is obsessed with baseball and anything with baseball in it. The gist of it is that the main character travels through time by using baseball cards, meeting some of baseball's great legends and going on adventures. It's a charming and simple premise that any young sports fan will love!"

"This book and its corresponding series are pretty interesting, but I believe they aren't a good fit for all middle schoolers. They'd likely hold the attention of a 6th grader but not an 8th grader that has higher reading capabilities."

"My 8 year old son LOVED this book! It's always a joy when I buy him something and when he asks for more I know it have to be good. I will be buying all the books in this series and hope he writes many more. "

"While this is a great series of chapter books ( think Magic Treehouse), it's lexile is 630, so I think it's better suited for the 8-10 crowd. I think 12 is a bit too old for this series. I would however recommend it for the 3-5th grade level."

"These are pretty neat books for kids, especially if you've got a baseball fan and/or a baseball card fan who needs a gift. That said, these are aimed at kids who are a bit older, around the range of 8-12. My nephew loved them, but they wouldn't have made any sense to him at age 3. "

"My 9 year old daughter likes being read to and I like it too. I try to find the best books that she will enjoy. I came across this one, Mickey and Me, Baseball card adventures and she really likes it. It's a lot of fun, especially because she likes Mickey and it's a really cool story. "

"This is good for sports fans. Unfortunately none of my children are very big into sports. This one wouldn't go over too well."
