"This is definitely the best of its genre in my experience. The humor is actually humorous, the main character isn't a brain dead self-obsessed fashionista, she doesn't fall into bed with the love interest five seconds after meeting him, the MC has actual problems that can't be solved by buying yet another pair of Jimmy Choos or Louboutins, and the ghost is neither a font of all wisdom nor the perky sidekick"

"Offer a good synopsis of what the book is about. Give enough details to capture my interest."

"While I do appreciate the humor that came with this book, I can't say that it is one of the best books by the best fiction author. I'm sure there are others out there that would fit this category a lot better. The story is good in that the main character is not your typical girl / vampire, but the whole vampire scene is pretty much drawn out. You get some of the same elements in each type of book that it becomes boring. It was good, but it was not the best that I have read."

"I like to think that it's better to laugh at things that are really scary so I don't have to be scared to death. This is a perfect book for anyone else who feels the same as I do. It's better to laugh to keep from crying. Good writing and a lot of characters that want you to keep going. "

"My ex's daughter really loves these type of vampire books that have a sense of humor and this one is a favorite. It fits squarely into a genre and doesn't throw too many curve balls, but it's well-written and entertaining. She reads a lot of this genre and this one is a standout."

"I'm not really sure if this fits the bill for what anyone is looking for. Geeky? Your heroine is a vampire, so it's a little overdone but certainly not geeky. That aside, it's an average book. It doesn't do anything bad, but doesn't break records either."

    "meets topic perfectly"

"I always catch my girlfriend reading paranormal (mostly romance) books but rarely pay it any mind. After seeing her constantly giggling I wanted to see what the fuss was all about. I'm embarrassed to say this as a man was an excellent read. The snide style of writing is definitely my style."
