"I have been a huge Stephen King fan for years now and this book only made me like his work even more. Each of the short stories is very interesting with a great plot. The stories always offer a good level of spooky which I love in a book. The stories also make you think a little as the writing is not a very easy read. I really loved this book and I think all King fans would too!"

"I love Stephen Kind stories but hadn't come across this one yet. Once again I'll be picking up a used version of this but love that I was given Amazon choices again."

"There's nothing in this world quite as spectacular as early Stephen King writings, and this collection of short stories is one of the best you can find. You will find eight of them here, two of which - Children of the Corn and The Lawnmower Man - many people will recognize as being made into major motion pictures, although The Lawnmower Man did stray very far from its source material. Regardless, all of the stories are thoroughly engrossing and enjoyable, and all have that youthful energy of Stephen King in his prime. This is a must-own and must-read."

"One of King's early triumphs... this book has some raw, amazing tales that leave you wishing for more. The stories are a mix of his more chilling, otherworldly stories as well as his stories that deal with more banal evil... both of which are areas in which he excels! I loved this when I first read it years ago and I love it even more now. You will re-read this one over and over!"

"I'm not a big fan of horror books. I would pass on this. "

"One of my favorite Stephen king books.. There are about 20 short stories, and almost all of them could stand out as a novel. Many movies and expended books came from this including, the Stand, lawnmower man, Children of the corn and salem's lot. This is one that i alway keep in my car so that i can kill 15-20 minutes by reading a story of my choice."

"This is absolutely not a good result for this topic search. Night Shift is a great collection of horror short stories by one of the most prolific authors in modern times, if not history as a whole, but none of them are romance in nature, and if memory serves none of them have an Asian person as a love interest. It's an excellent group of stories, but anyone looking specifically for this topic would be sorely disappointed."

"This is my favorite Stephen King novel. It's such a dramatic, well-crafted read! If you're looking for a novel, you might be disappointed since it's a collection of stories. I find it to provide a nice change of pace, though, in comparison to what I normally read. Some of the writing seems a bit dated at times, but overall, it holds up nicely to today's issues and environment. "

"I couldn't sleep for a week after I read Night Shift. This is Stephen King at his best and a great introduction to him as this was one of his earlier works."
