What the community says about Nights in Rodanthe
- "Being a huge Nicholas Sparks fan and reading all his novels and loving all the movie adaptations to movies, I had to go back and read one of my favorites. Nights in Rodanthe is a classic for me and one I often to go back to. I felt this is the novel for me. It's about a divorced woman named Adrienne. She's left to raise her daughter and take care of her ailing father all alone. Like all Sparks novels, she happens on a chance meeting with a guy who would certainly change her life for the better. It's definitely a Sparks novel when you just feel the magic connection between characters and realize how genuine they are. The human connection he draws from his characters and the way he pieces everything together in his stories, especially Nights in Rodanthe, leaves me feeling positive about myself as well as humanity. It's a novel to savior and read when you're feeling like life has been throwing too much at you. I love this book."
- "NIcholas Sparks has a gift for dramatic realism. It's not just the way he writes his characters, but also in the stories he chooses to tell. They aren't grand romantic adventures, but they're life-changing nonetheless. You can really relate to the characters, and there's something for everyone in this novel."
