What the community says about Nobody Passes
- "I was intrigued by the striking title of this book. This collection of stories takes the reader through a variety of experiences of people that go against the expectations of society. It reminds the reader not to take anything for granted and teaches them how different each person's experience can be. ""good Nobody Passes is a collection of essays that confronts and challenges the very notion of belonging. By examining the perilous intersections of identity, categorization, and community, contributors challenge societal mores and countercultural norms."
- "I have been trying to improve myself, and smarten up a bit, so I've been looking on lists of 'must-read' non-fiction books published in our new century, to peruse, and hopefully gain a little wisdom. An online book site recommended a novel called 'Nobody Passes', and not knowing much about the book I purchased it. I found it to be a preachy, stilted lecture about the struggles of LGBT individuals in society. It wasn't very well written or entertaining, but also its focus was pretty narrow. Some folks might like it more than me, but I don't see anything about it that makes it 'must read.'"
- "This is not a must read non fiction book. It is not widely reviewed. Some of the essays seem to go a little long and repetitive, but overall, a read about people facing their sexuality and how it fits into society. "
