"Open Season is one of the hottest books out there. I have a police officer fantasy, so this is right up my alley. Hubba hubba!"

"This is such an interesting story with such a nerdy lead in it. It's the quirky story of a girl getting involved in a crime that she witnessed. The turns and twist of her story and the romance that develops along the way is quite interesting."

"Question refers to multiple works, not a singular work. I found one result and it wasn't what I was looking for."

"Open Season promised to be a sexy police story but in my opinion it was more of a snooze. The main character Daisy is bored with her life and it shows in this book. I kept waiting for the book to finally take a romantic turn but it stayed boring. Daisy did eventually see a crime happen and this leads to an “exciting” crime novel but I found this part of the book equally boring. If you’re looking for a better romantic crime novel I’d recommend Gone Girl. Much better."

"Romance books are very common, but it can be tough to find specific subgenres within the category. For someone who wants a police romance, for example, browsing the bookshelf can be difficult. Open Season would fit that niche very well. It seems to be well received, and can even be used as a window into many of the author's other works."

"Daisy Minor needed a change, so she got a makeover and went looking for love. Then she witnesses a crime and becomes the target of a killer. Will love find her just when she stops looking?"

"Such a good book, and I recommend for anyone. It is sort of like a crime book, but it is so in-depth that it appeals to such a wide variety of emotions while you read it. I really almost felt like I was watching a movie while reading, which is the feeling that everyone hopes for in a book. I normally do not like to reread over books, but this was one I enjoyed so much that I went back and read!"
