"If it is a how to guide to a form of Wiccan practices which vary widely and are subject to constant debates amongst those who wear the label this promises to deliver the reader a giving the seeker a "solid grounding in the basics of modern Fairy Witchcraft". A kind of "practical guide" in many ways. It is for sure, on topic. It is not a survey by any means, of all the diverse activities or even philosophical stances."

"Alternative religions have a lot of stigma, so it can be hard to find tomes describing their practices. Looking for a book that accurately explains the tenants of Wicca is no exception. This is an introductory text that aims to educate the reader on Fairy-faith, which could be a version of Wicca."

"This book combines modern neopagan witchcraft with Celtic Fairy Faith and is thus not a book about Wiccan beliefs but instead a combination of two beliefs."

"I've always been a fan of British and Irish literature. Some of my favorite books fall into this field. I decided to pick up Pagan Portals: Fairy Witchcraft because of this. I have a a few complaints mostly minor. I found the paper used to be a little fragile and tore easily. Other than that the writing is excellent and the stories written here are very interesting."
