What the community says about Paranormalcy
- "Paranormalcy sounds very interesting to me, as I am a huge fan of reading anything related to the subject of the paranormal. I like the idea of our main female character not only being followed by spirits in general, but perhaps there is more than that? Maybe these ghostly beings and creatures are trying to give her a message or warn her of something?"
- "Dumb beyond words. The science fiction world never seems to have anything original to say anymore they just seem to keep recycling the same stuff over and over. They just keep giving us the same plot stupid head in the clouds girl- a bimbo really- must save the universe with the help of sassy fairy tale creatures. I wanted the main character to be eaten- I disliked her so much, but of course she is not and I had to suffer through all of her adventures and all of the stupid explanations of each creature she meets. "
- "With the vampire fad that has recently been going on in the teen demographic, here is yet another one. might as well give it a try. you might like it! "
- "Kiersten White is one of those authors that you either have to love or hate. Put me in that hate camp. I buy these books for my daughter who loves this kind of thing. She says it's funny and interesting and full of excitement. I say it's trite, contrived, and simplistic. But different strokes and all. This book is part of a trilogy - so if you read it, read all three. "

in What are the best fiction books"Weird as it working for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, Evie’s always thought of herself as normal. Sure her best friend is a mermaid, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she’s falling for a shape-shifter, and she’s the only person who can see through paranormals’ glamours, but still. Normal."

in What are the best young adult books"I was prepared to hate this, but it was alright I guess. It had all the trappings of a typically stupid tween supernatural romance but there was a bit more to offer here. Still didn't love it, though. Definitely not placing it on any of my best lists, though."
