What the community says about Prelude to Infinity (Avengers Volume 3)
- AnonymousWritten on May 14, 2018"I don't think this is Jonathan Hickman's best work. I read this and I like the interactions between characters at moments, but I feel like the story isn't progressing fast enough for me. Maybe that's not the writer's fault, but the arc isn't that entertaining to me."

- AnonymousWritten on May 10, 2018"The set-up to Infinity continues here and while there are some good character bits, particularly with Thor and Hyperion, it’s not enough to justify another several issues of setting the table. I didn’t particularly think that Hickman spent enough time on introducing all of these new characters either. They’re all sort of thrown into the mix. I realize that part of this is Hickman’s style, but whereas in Hickman’s FF I always felt he had a good pace going, his Avengers thus far has seemed like a very long introduction to the story he really wants to tell. We’ll see if it’s worth it."
