What the community says about Puppy Love

"Puppy Love is a disappointment. There are much better options for young adult LGBT+ fiction than this. The writing is childish and immature, as are the characters. The love story is cliché and basically just porn with no nuance to it."

"Not my cup of tea, but I can at least appreciate the story. I will have to direct my gay friends to it. "
  • Samantha Sullivan

"This isn't my favorite dynamic in a romance novel, and I have to say that basin a "coming of age" story around a bdsm relationship is not the right message that should be sent. These boys don't even know themselves, not to mention what they want in an intense relationship like master/slave."
  • Carolyn Woods

"Long needed story about discovering and embracing your sexual identity from the point of view of a young gay man."
  • Jose Carroll

"Pretty bad reviews but the book fits the genre well. A very niche topic which doesn't have many books on it so I'd say this is one of the best."
  • Evelyn George

"Don't let the title fool you, Puppy Love, is one of the best hardcore BDSM novels written by a male writer. The book, really gets gritty in unexpected ways at times. I loved every moment of reading it. I recommend it to all of my friends who've never read anything by the author."
  • Arnav Tata

"Although the text is no longer free, I can see why this book was found entertaining. Not one for BDSM in any personal context, but any tales of someone finding out what makes up their self worth are great!"
  • Susana Soriano

"This completely describes the topic we are looking for. "
  • Tiffany George

"This was like watching two twelve year olds trying to play adults but constantly falling into whining and hissy fits. This is horrifying the way it talks about how one boy MUST submit to the other. This is a terrible novel and really should NEVER be in the hands of teens. This book is not a best of anything. "
  • Reyna Márquez

"It was quite different then any other book I ever read. It was a little interesting. I probably would not read it again. It was fine but not wonderful."

"Jeff Erno does a great job of helping us connect with the main character, Petey. This effective way of writing allowed me to feel what Petey felt as I was reading. It was definitely and experience as the ups and downs in this book are high and low. This story is more about the relationship and character development than the average BDSM which makes the connection to it more interesting."
