"Absolutely awful, I felt like the writing was phoned in and even that's being a little too generous. It reads like someone's cheap cash-in to ride the coattails of popular erotica, and sadly enough, there's people who actually like it and are even inspired to write trite just like this. Please, just avoid, you'll be completely deflated by the amount of exasperated sighs of frustration you'll let out reading this slopfest."

"This was not a good book. It was disappointing all the way around. Gabe is a joke of a man and cannot even protect the female. He lets her down time and time again. College grad (never says what her major is) works part-time in bakery and basically mooches off her older, richer brother while secretly lusting after his best friend and business partner. That's it, that's her whole life. What he should have had her sign get out of jail free card, which he never does. This is a disgusting book full of people without lives."

"Rush is a passionate erotic novel that is a great read for any adult, wanting to enjoy some erotica on occasion. "

"This book is great if you like one long rape fantasy. Don't get me wrong, I have been in relationships with women that DO fantasize about being raped, but I can't imagine that any of them had this horribly-written dreck in mind late at night and alone in their rooms. I'll give it half a star just because there weren't too many typos in it."

"This book is not the answer. This book is talking about a man and a woman's passionate love affair. I would not learn anything about dominating alpha males when a woman would be part of the book"

"A Classical tale of forbidden love. One for the ages! Imagine a more modern take on Romeo and Juliet. Maya Banks makes me feel for Gabe and Mia in a way I haven't before. This is one of the best office romance stories I have read and will make you think Jim and Pam Halpert from the office have nothing on Gabe and Mia! Must read!"

"I was looking for a novel where best friends grow into lovers. This is exactly what I was looking for. It is such a compelling story, where people start as childhood friends and grow up into lovers."

"This book tells the story of Gabe, a billionaire Dom with a serious attraction to his best-friend's little sister, Mia. Of course, Mia is about as off-limits as a woman could be. She's sweet, young, innocent and coddled by her over-protective big brother. Gabe's sure he's going to hell for just thinking of the sex acts he wants to do with Mia. Going to hell or not, he decides that he will have Mia. After seeing her at a grand opening party one evening, scantily clad and looking irresistible, he can't resist her any longer. Instructing her to meet him at his office in the morning, he startles her with a passionate kiss and sends her on her way. Mia wasn't sure what to expect when she arrived at Gabe's office, as instructed. She'd lusted after her brother's best friend for years, but never really thought she stood a chance. She wants him, but she's thrown off-kilter by the contract he presents her with, outlining the details of their sexual relationship if she were to consent to having one. Predictably, Mia chooses to agree to the relationship with Gabe. As part of their agreement, she will also begin working as his personal assistant. Little by little, Gabe introduces her to his world of kink. The story slowly progresses with a few smaller climactic moments along the way. Eventually, everything hits the fan when Mia's older brother discovers their relationship in the most dramatic fashion. Then, every bit of progress that this couple had made seemed to evaporate. I was disappointed in Gabe's behavior more than once while reading this story. His character didn't hold much appeal for me. I liked Mia, but without liking both of the main characters, this long story just got kind of tedious. Overall, I liked it. It isn't a favorite of mine, but it was a decent story to pass some time. I've definitely read far worse. That being said, I've also read much better"
