What the community says about Sacraments of Fire (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)
- "I don't know. I really wanted to love it. But it was SO SLOW in parts. I just couldn't keep going. It took me so long to finish, because I'd get bored and wander off to do other things. I'm a big trekkie and especially for DS9. But there were just too many holes in the plot and the writing was just too slow for me. I'm not a fan of this one."
- "This one seemed promising at the start, but sadly, did not deliver on that promise. It seemed to be a mishmash and re-hashing of the prior plot, plus it was also a tad bit disjointed. If you're anything like my boyfriend, completely impatient and a complete Trekkie, the cliffhanger WILL make you mad, so consider yourself warned! haha"
- "Sacramets of Fire is familiar because it is part of the Star Trek world, but by no means is it among the best sci-fi fantasy books for young adults. With so many excellent options in the genre, this comes up more underwhelming and somewhat outdated than you would hope."
- "Growing up watching the original series Star Trek, I am a kinda geeky fan of anything Star Trek. I love the books just as much as the TV shows and all the Spin offs. The books can be a bit of a stretch of the imagination, but that is what the whole series is about. Yes it is a bit slow, but I still enjoyed it."
